We’re looking for part-time, hourly staff to provide home care support and assisted transportation services to area residents.
Must be reliable, trustworthy, a responsive communicator and able to work independently while maintaining positive working relationships with co-workers, clients and their family members.
Reliable transportation/valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
Pay starts at $12.00 - $15.00/hour, DOE. Must pass background check.

JOB DESCRIPTION: HOME CARE ASSOCIATES (PART-TIME)

Generations Home Care Associates support basic tasks of everyday living in clients’ home settings. Employees will need their own reliable transportation to and from client homes. Team members will likely be assigned to work in multiple locations in a single day.

Services provided include routine socialization (making daily check-in calls or visits), light meal preparation and housekeeping, running errands or providing in-home companionship or respite for caregivers.

Assignments will generally be scheduled between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. each weekday, but alternate availability – including earlier start times on weekdays, occasional weekend or holiday support – may sometimes be requested (advance notice will be provided). Work will contain a fair amount of physical activity, including lifting up to 40 pounds, bending, walking, and stretching.

 

Client care, safety and activity reporting training will be provided. Computer skills helpful, but not required. The ability to adapt to various types of home/personal settings while maintaining absolutely client confidentiality is a must.

JOB DESCRIPTION: ASSISTED TRANSPORTATION COORDINATORS (PART-TIME)

Generations Home Care Assisted Transportation Coordinators transport clients to desired destinations, including medical, dental or eye appointments, social visits, general errands (grocery store, bank, post office, pharmacy, etc.) or other locations within a specified radius of their home.

 

Applicants will be required to provide clients with door-to-door service, including:

 

·         Assisting individuals with any necessary preparations for the trip

·         Assisting clients into/out of the transportation vehicle at home and at their destination

·         Staying with individuals at their destination, if desired

·         Carrying any packages or purchases procured during the visit

·         Assisting individuals back into their homes upon return (including carrying packages, if applicable)

 

An approved/insured company vehicle will be provided; qualified applicants must possess a valid driver’s license (Class C or above) and pass a background check.

 

Employees will need their own reliable transportation to, from and between client homes. Some transportation coordinators may be assigned to work in multiple locations/make multiple trips in a single day.

 

Assignments will generally be scheduled between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. each weekday, but alternate availability – including earlier pick-up times on weekdays – may sometimes be requested (adequate advance notice would be provided). Must maintain safe driving record and be able to lift packages up to 40 pounds.
